Phyllis Wakiaga is the Chief Executive of Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM). She has represented KAM on various boards including Anti- Counterfeit Agency, Kenya Industrial Property Institute, COMESA Business Council and Kenya Consumer Protection Advisory Committee. She chairs the UN Global Compact Network Kenya, Kenya Water Industrial Alliance and Industrialization and Trade Sector Board at KEPSA. She is also a Director at Kenya Electricity Generating Company.
She has been recognized as Top 40 under 40 Women by Business Daily in 2016, Top 10 Kenyan Communicators 2017, BBC Power Women Africa 2016, among the Top Africa Economic Leaders for Tomorrow on the Choiseul 100 Africa list 2018 and as one of the Most Influential People of African Decent in 2019. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a holder of an MBA and a LLM in International Trade and Investment Law.
